Complete Fibre and Green Co Home Broadband Bring Full-Fibre Choice to Vivid Residents

Complete Fibre, the open access full-fibre infrastructure specialist, has today confirmed a new service provider partnership with Green Co Home Broadband (Green Co), with the first live multi-dwelling unit (MDU) now connected on behalf of housing association Vivid.

The agreement sees Green Co join Complete Fibre’s expanding network of service provider partners, which includes both regional specialists and large-scale national operators. Trusted by the leading social housing landlords, Complete Fibre’s open access model combines high-quality, safety-led infrastructure with rapid, efficient deployment, enabling multiple providers to connect to buildings without duplication and giving residents genuine choice over their broadband services.

Vivid is one of the south of England’s largest housing providers, with a portfolio of homes spanning a wide range of communities. The initial Connected building marks the first step in what both parties expect to be a significant programme of deployments across Complete Fibre’s landlord estate.

For residents, the practical impact is immediate: Green Co can begin delivering services without the delays and costs typically associated with building-by-building infrastructure negotiations. Further properties are expected to follow in the months ahead, as the rollout scales across Complete Fibre’s portfolio.

At the heart of Complete Fibre’s model is a clear separation between infrastructure and retail services. Rather than tying a building to a single provider, the open access approach creates a level playing field — giving residents genuine choice, encouraging competition, and ensuring the underlying network remains fit for purpose long into the future.

Andy Wells, CEO of Complete Fibre, said:

“Bringing Green Co onto our platform is another step forward in demonstrating what open access can genuinely deliver for residents in MDUs. Vivid share our belief that residents deserve better connectivity options, and this partnership shows how quickly that can become a reality when landlords, infrastructure providers and service providers are properly aligned. We look forward to expanding this with Green Co across many more buildings.”

Gary Coates,  Director of Green Co Home Broadband, commented:

“Complete Fibre’s infrastructure makes it straightforward for us to reach residents in buildings that have historically been difficult to serve. The open access model removes the usual barriers and means we can focus on what we do best — delivering great broadband. Vivid’s commitment to improving digital access for their residents makes them an ideal partner to start with, and we see considerable scope to grow from here.”

Vivid highlighted the deployment as another tangible step in its wider programme to future-proof its homes and improve the everyday lives of residents.

Matt Bellamy Director of Asset Strategy & Delivery at VIVID, said:

“Good connectivity is no longer a luxury, it’s something our customers rely on for work, learning, health and keeping in touch. We wanted an approach that gives customers more control over their broadband choices, rather than limiting them to a single option. Working with Complete Fibre and Green Co provides that flexibility, alongside the reassurance of Golden Thread documentation underpinning every installation, ensuring safety, quality and compliance remain central throughout.”

The Green Co partnership is the latest in a series of service provider additions to the Complete Fibre platform, reflecting growing industry recognition that open access infrastructure offers a smarter, more sustainable path to full-fibre connectivity in the UK’s multi-tenant housing stock.
