Building the Foundations for the Next Phase of CTG’s Growth

When NPS invested in CTG 18 months ago, it marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both businesses. While CTG continues to operate as an independent specialist business, the partnership has enabled us to strengthen our capabilities, broaden our expertise and accelerate the delivery of safe, compliant and future-ready digital infrastructure for residents living in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs).

Looking back on the past 18 months, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.

Our focus from day one has been on building a stronger business. We have invested in our people, strengthened our commercial offering, expanded our customer base and developed long-term relationships with landlords, housing associations, local authorities and telecommunications providers. Alongside this, we have enhanced our operational capability, governance and delivery model, creating the strong foundations needed to support sustainable growth at scale.

These foundations are already delivering results.

Today, CTG operates more than 30,000 live MDU unitsacross the UK, working with some of the country’s largest housing associations, including G15 members and telecom providers. Together, these organisations manage thousands of residential buildings nationwide. This achievement reflects the trust our customers place in our independent, specialist approach and demonstrates the pace of growth we have delivered over the past 18 months.

However, while growth is an important measure of success, it is the impact of our work that continues to drive us.

At CTG, we have always believed that reliable digital connectivity is no longer a luxury—it is an essential service. Access to education, employment, healthcare and public services increasingly depends on reliable broadband, and digital connectivity plays a vital role in reducing inequality, improving opportunities and supporting stronger communities.

That is why our purpose remains unchanged: helping to close the UK’s digital divide.

By working closely with landlords and telecommunications providers, we simplify the deployment of digital infrastructure across complex residential buildings. As an independent specialist, we bridge the gap between property owners and network operators, reducing risk, protecting building integrity and creating faster, safer and more efficient routes to delivering high-quality broadband services for residents.

Our partnership with NPS Group has further strengthened that capability. By combining CTG’s specialist expertise with NPS’s experience in fibre network planning, design and delivery, we can support customers throughout the entire digital infrastructure lifecycle while maintaining the agility, independence and customer focus that have always defined our business.

Over the last 18 months, we have built not only a stronger business, but stronger relationships—with customers, partners and the wider industry. Those relationships, combined with the operational foundations now in place, give us a clear platform for the next stage of our growth.

We have a clear plan to increase our operational footprint to 150,000 live MDU units by 2028.

The market opportunity is significant. There are more than six million Multi-Dwelling Units across the UK, with over one million units representing CTG’s immediate target market. Our focus is on executing our growth strategy by supporting more landlords and telecommunications providers with independent, safe and future-ready digital infrastructure solutions that improve connectivity for residents nationwide.

As we continue to grow, our values remain constant. We will continue investing in our people, strengthening our partnerships and delivering the high standards of safety, compliance and service that our customers expect. We will also continue to champion independent access models that provide landlords and residents with greater choice, flexibility and long-term value.

There is also much more to come.

We have several exciting projects, strategic partnerships and new initiatives already underway that will further strengthen CTG’s position within the digital infrastructure sector. Over the coming months, we look forward to sharing a number of significant customer successes and business developments as we continue to deliver against our plan.

The momentum we have built over the last 18 months is not the destination—it is the foundation for the next phase of CTG’s growth.

I would like to thank our customers, partners and every member of the CTG team for their continued trust, commitment and support. Together, we have built a business with strong foundations, meaningful long-term partnerships and a clear plan for the future.

The journey is only just beginning, and I look forward to sharing the next chapter with you.
