Welcoming Rachel McFee as Head Officer for Project Management and Operations

Rachel brings over 20 years’ experience heading the delivery of multi-platform and digital transformation projects

We are very happy to welcome Rachel McFee as Head Officer for Project Management and Operations at CTG

Joining CTG in April, Rachel brings over 20 years’ experience heading the delivery of multi-platform and digital transformation projects to the industry leading standard we require for our clients.

Rachel says “I welcome the challenge of coming on board at this stage to help in the further development of CTG’s already solid foundations, building my team so that we can scale and grow quickly.

I do believe that the work CTG is doing will provide social value and make a real difference to people’s lives – by enabling them to buy broadband services at competitive prices. CTGs thorough auditing process will ensure landlords can be confident that installation has been carried out to the highest standards and that residents are safe in their homes.

My role is to make sure the processes CTG follows work efficiently and meet all corporate and regulatory standards and that our digital platform meets the expectations of our clients and partners, enabling them to run their business with confidence.

I’m looking forward to working closely with colleagues in the planning team to make sure we take a holistic and integrated approach to programme and project delivery.”

Rachel comes to CTG from range of Director and Head of roles at a number of blue-chip organisations including Alfresco Software Ltd, Betfair, THQ and Electronic Arts.

As Director of Programme Delivery, Rachel directed Alfresco’s transformation from an on-premise software company to a platform-as-service model. She played a key role in driving Alfresco’s growth, which resulted in the successful sale of the company. Rachel also designed a transparent governance structure and reporting arrangements for managing programme requirements, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.

In her role as Head of Localisation at Betfair, Rachel improved the localisation process, reducing costs and time to market. She provided the strategic overview for an e-commerce programme, developing the product roadmap, aligning priorities and gaining approval for investment. Significantly, she also accelerated the release timeline12-fold from 1 a month to 3 a week.

At THQ where she was Head of International Procurement, Rachel led the supply chain team to deliver the largest peak period and product portfolio in their history.

Andy Wells, CTG’s Chief Operating Officer, says: “Rachel’s role is critical to CTG’s success in delivering effective and efficient programmes for our clients. She will also lead the development of our platform and products which firmly place transparency and regulatory compliance at the heart of our work. Her extensive experience coupled with a very clear focus on improving the customer journey will provide significant benefits to our clients and partners.

Rachel has a history of building and leading successful teams, providing coaching and learning opportunities, and promoting a culture of mentorship which can only benefit CTG as a whole, ensuring our colleagues have the opportunity to realise their potential.

Her pragmatic approach and collaborative way of working will help us build successful relationships with our stakeholders, clients and partners, as well as ensuring efficiency and strong governance in CTG’s internal systems.”
